Distance could suit Sherlock as all roads lead to Navan

All roads lead to Navan, Co Meath tomorrow for the Cycleways Cup which should be an indicator as to how the next couple of weeks will pan out in the order of supremacy for those aspiring to tackle the Kerry Group Rás Mumhan over Easter.

Two teams, Eurocycles and Dan Morrissey/Speedy-Spokes, look to have the firepower in their ranks. On paper the advantage looks to be in favour of the Dublin outfit Eurocycles. In the last two years they have brought home the silverware.

Adam Armstrong was the victor in Navan in 2010, whilst Conor Murphy breasted the tape last season. Tomorrow, I suspect will favour Ryan Sherlock of Cycleways with the toughness and the 130kms distance.

Start at 12.30pm on Slane Road, Navan, finishing at Proudstown Road.
