ST ANDREW'S got revenge to claim their fifth Leinster Senior Cup title with a 5-4 penalty-stroke win over Wesley at Grange Road.
The victory overturned their shoot-out defeat to the same opponents in last year's final, with akim Bernsden making the crucial penalty save yesterday.
Lee Cole and Cillian Hines put the Booterstown outfit 2-0 up inside six minutes, but Luke Madeley - scoring in his fourth underage final in a fortnight - and Jack Perdue got Wesley level by the break.
Fiachra Maher put Wesley in front, but Madeley levelled with two minutes to go. The sin-bin count reached seven as penalty strokes ensued -- St Andrew's recorded a perfect set of five penalties and Bernsden's save ultimately handed his side glory.
