Losing the plot

OLD foe Patrick Vieira has dismissed Manchester United's title challenge and claimed that Alex Ferguson and his squad are losing it.

The man who famously clashed with Roy Keane and ended up second-best on and off the pitch believes that Manchester City will do what they need to do against Chelsea tonight and that Ferguson is showing signs of weakness.

"Yes, United have a four-point lead and, of course, we have to win against Chelsea," said Vieira who is convinced that Fergie's decision to pull Paul Scholes out of retirement is a backward step.

"Paul Scholes is a player that I really love and seeing him come back is good for him and for United," claimed Vieira.

"But for him to come back just shows a little bit of weakness in United.

"When you see United losing young players like Ravel Morrison and maybe Paul Pogba, they should be really worried."
