KILMACUD'S first Leinster final. They'll play Sarsfields of Kildare on Sunday.
Meath's Simonstown provided the perfect preparation.
Crokes had to put in the miles to overcome the Royals at Pairc de Burca.
"We knew it was going to be a tight game," noted Kilmacud manager, Tommy Doran.
"But our girls stood up to the challenge, and thankfully we managed to get over the line.
"It was a fantastic test. I'd have to give Simonstown a huge amount of credit for their effort.
"Hopefully now our two games in Leinster will stand us in good stead for the final. We are all looking forward to it." A fine attendance showed up to see them against Simonstown.
They were treated to a most delicious goal from Philippa Green.
Crokes are captained by Ann-Marie McBarron, and at midfield they have the Dublin diamond, Molly Lamb, and the excellent Lauren Magee, daughter of the new Wicklow boss, Jonny.
Tommy's management unit includes Daphne Lamb, Mick Regan, Donal Gallagher and physio, Donald Whoriskey.
"We have had a wonderful campaign winning Dublin and now getting to the Leinster final. We are all very pleased for the girls because they have been putting in the work since January."
