Jim Culloty has decided his RSA Chase hero Lord Windermere (right) will not run again this season.

It was a case of "mission accomplished" for Culloty, who landed by far the biggest win of his training career last week.

Having ridden Best Mate to win three Gold Cups, the former jockey now has another success in the blue riband event in his sights, but this time as a trainer.

"He's come out of the race in very good form but he won't run again this season," said the Co Cork handler.

"By design I got plenty of experience into him throughout the season so he'd had five runs before Cheltenham.

"That's enough, I think, for this season.

"It was very much mission accomplished this season, the whole campaign was built around the RSA and it came off.

"Now we start again though, and start building towards the Gold Cup.

"I haven't got a particular race in mind that I will be starting him off in, but at Christmas I imagine he'll be running in the Lexus and we'll treat him as a Gold Cup horse."
