DAVID WACHMAN could well be the Irish trainer that takes Royal Ascot by storm on the second day of the meeting as the Cashel-based trainer sends over a couple of very interesting runners.

Wachman went close at Epsom earlier in the month when his Galileo Rock finished third behind Ruler Of The World in the Derby, and with his only two runners for Royal Ascot both running tomorrow, it would be a surprise if he didn't come close again.

In the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes, last year's Sandringham winner Duntle will look to strike again as she makes her second start of the campaign in the Group Two contest, and she should prove difficult to beat.

This week will be an emotional one for Lady Jane Cecil and all the Warren Place team and it is Henry Cecil's final Irish winner Chigun that could pose the biggest threat to Duntle.

However, Wachman's four-year-old is still expected to come out on top.

Indeed, the trainer will look for a second Sandringham success in as many years as he sends over Hint Of A Tint to contest her first handicap.

The three-year-old won a Curragh maiden on her only start last season and then stepped up for two Group Threes this term, running well over a mile behind Just Pretending in the 1,000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown.
