There was drama yesterday at Listowel as the result of the Liam Healy Lartigue Hurdle was reversed in the Stewards Room.

Gordon Elliott's Kuiper Belt passed the post in front in the feature race but the race was awarded to the Joseph O'Brien-trained Gold Seal, originally beaten by a shorthead, after a lengthy stewards inquiry.

Elliott may earn some compensation on day four of the Harvest Festival this afternoon when he saddles three of the runners in the big race of the week, the Guinness Kerry National.

Timiyan is a big spare ride for 7lbs conditional jockey Darragh O'Keeffe to pick up but the seven-year-old can continue the good record of lighter weights in this race.

The selection carries the colours of JP McManus who also owns the ante-post favourite for this race, Blazer, but it is Timiyan who won the Midlands National last time out that could just be on the right side of the handicapper.

A winner on testing ground earlier in his career, Timiyan has probably yet to fulfil the potential he once showed but the penny might just be finally dropping with him and the trip, ground and track shouldn't pose too many problems as he gets weight from each of his rivals.

Jury Duty and Peregrine Run are the class acts at the top of the handicap but might struggle to concede so much weight.

Ruby Walsh revealed in his Paddy Power blog that he is now aiming to be back at the end of this month having not healed in time for Listowel.

Walsh is still nursing some bruising to his ribs and back but Paul Townend has once again proved an able deputy in his absence and can record another double for Willie Mullins today.

Easy Game is two from two for Mullins and really has found it easy so far and should be able to beat Air Supremacy who might just find the ground tough going.

The maiden hurdle looks a good contest but Quick Grabim is picked to see Mullins and Townend double up. Quick Grabim hasn't been seen since falling in a Leopardstown maiden hurdle at Chrismtas and although Debuchet sets the standard on form, it is Quick Grabim who could make his mark after an absence.

Listowel stage a mixed card today with Aztec Eagle likely to see Ben Coen take over the lead in the apprentice championship. Dermot Weld has turned to Coen a few times to use his claim and Aztec Eagle looks to have a real good chance on his handicap debut.

The Cork race he won has worked out well he proved that day he should handle the conditions today.

Tim Doyle's three-year-old Krispen stood out in the Brandon Hotel Handicap.
