Tempo a gem for Ruby

Punchestown is sure to attract most of the attention tomorrow but proceedings in Mallow shouldn't be ignored as a number of interesting runners line up on a decent card in Cork.

Ruby Walsh makes the trip down to ride the Willie Mullins trained and Rich Ricci-owned duo of Blazing Tempo and Tarla amongst others.

Blazing Tempo gets all the allowances in the Grade Two Hilly Way Chase where former top novice Realt Dubh will have to give her 9lbs, which looks a difficult task.

Tarla looks a real classy recruit to fences after bolting up at Clonmel on her first start over the larger obstacles, and the drop back in trip shouldn't hinder her as she takes on talented mare Dazzling Susie who returns for the first time since Galway.

Walsh has no ride in the Grade Three Cork Stayers Novice Hurdle in which Paul Carberry looks like taking the honours on Noel Meade's Roads To Riches who made a nice start to his hurdling career at Punchestown last time.

Meade has Fickle Fortune entered at Navan today but should she also head to the first race in Cork tomorrow she may prove hard to beat and instigate a possible double for the trainer.
