Classy horse steps up in trip again and should make case for Bartlett

I make a rare visit to Warwick this afternoon for four good rides and I'd be hopeful of bagging at least one winner out of the day.

Harry Senior (2.25 Warwick) had some good form before he won his maiden at Chepstow on Welsh National day and I think he has a lot going for him again this afternoon.

The last day was his first step up in trip and he is up to 2m 5f today, which should be a further help.

My only concern would be if it was very, very soft ground, but I think this is a classy horse and maybe one that could be made for the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham.

Hopefully, he continues his winning ways before then.

Jessica Harrington sends SILVER SHEEN (3.35 Warwick) over for the Pertemps Qualifer and the aim is that we qualify for the final, but I'd say we'll need to win this to get into the race.

Silver Sheen is rated 130 today so only finishing in the first six to qualify might not be enough.

He only has 10st 4lb on his back and he will love the conditions so he has definitely got a chance and I'm looking forward to him.

HIGHEST SUN (1.50 Warwick) won a two-horse race at Plumpton the last day but prior to that he had solid form. I don't think this Grade Two today is going to produce the RSA winner so I do think Highest Sun is up to winning a race of this nature.

He ran well behind Champ at Newbury and again behind Pym at Ascot and three miles around here today should be bang up his street.

I would be hoping the step up in trip will make a big difference to DARLAC (3.00 Warwick) in the big handicap chase.

It is rare to see a horse go from running over 2m 1f to 3m 5f but Darlac does have a decent level of form in the book and I don't think that the trip will be a problem to him.

I'd certainly be hoping he has each-way claims although The Conditional will be very hard to beat.

I'm back home for Punchestown tomorrow where I ride LORD SCHNITZEL (1.05 Punchestown) in the Grade Three Novice Chase.

Lord Schnitzel was second to Carefully Selected in a bumper and in a beginners' chase so he doesn't have a lot to find but still needs to improve.

The drop in trip should suit and he should be there or there abouts jumping the last anyway.

PORT STANLEY (3.45 Punchestown) found 2m 4f a step too far on heavy ground ,but he has some good bumper form behind none other than Envoi Allen and if he reproduced that tomorrow he will make Blackbow work hard.
