Plume can bloom at Kempton

SPANISH PLUME is the pick in the CSP Traffic Management Handicap at Kempton. Rather curiously, the handicapper has dropped him by 1lb for this assignment, which certainly adds to the sense of optimism.

Duke Of Lucca surely has a fighting chance in the David & Toni Eyles Beginners' Chase at Ascot. This slight drop in trip is of little consequence for Hobbs' runner.

Gee Dee Nen is far from a straightforward fellow, but goes particularly well at Ascot and could be worth a punt in the Winkworth Handicap Chase.

Good racing, too, at Haydock, where Molotof should go well in the timeform.betfair.com Novices' Hurdle.

Nicky Henderson's charge posted an excellent effort when second to Zarkandar in the Adonis on his British debut in February, but he was well down the field in the Triumph at the Cheltenham Festival.

Molotof scored a confidence-boosting victory at Wincanton earlier this month and that should stand him in good stead.
