No surprises in declarations for Irish Derby

There were no surprises this morning following the declarations for Saturday's Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby and in search for an 11th success and eighth in succession, Aidan O'Brien is double-handed including favourite Ruler Of the World.

Coolmore are double handed with Festive Cheer also standing his ground and Godolphin are also double handed in the race after both supplemented entries Libertarian and pacemaker Cap O'Rushes line up as expected.

The first three home from Epsom will all do battle again as David Wachman's Galileo Rock will be the mount of Wayne Lordan, and the recently purchased Sugar Boy will have his first start since winning the Classic Trial at Sandown in April. John Oxx looks for a third Irish Derby with Little White Cloud, while Jim Bolger relies on Trading Leather as his only representative and the field is completed by Pat Shanahan's Ralston Road. Ruler Of The World is a best priced 6/5 with Boylesports, with Libertarian the clear 7/2 second favourite, Trading Leather is 5/1 and Galileo Rock is 8/1.
