Moor is set for clash Punch' up

JESSICA HARRINGTON (pictured, above) is weighing up whether to let exciting mare Rock On The Moor take on the boys in Saturday's Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle at Punchestown.

Having won a bumper at Punchestown before finishing third behind Champion Bumper favourite Bordini in a Listed event at Navan, Rock On The Moor made an impressive start to her jumping career at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day.

RIVALS

She could now step up to Grade Two level in a race named after Harrington's brilliant two-mile chaser, with Supreme Novices' Hurdle favourite Douvan among her potential rivals.

Harrington said: "We thought we'd give her an entry as this race can sometimes cut up and she came out of her last race in such good form.

"She was impressive at Leopardstown. We didn't know what we were up against that day, but she's always been a good jumper and I hoped she'd run a big race.

"It could turn out to be a good maiden hurdle or it could turn out to be a bad maiden hurdle, only time will tell, but she couldn't have done any more than she did.

"It would be brilliant to have a runner in the race on Saturday."
