Kite set to fly in Cambridgeshire

THE opening words for the comments in running for Chil The Kite on his last three runs were 'held up' and to win a Cambridgeshire being held up is no easy task, but, with the champion-elect Richard Hughes on his back, that dream could become a reality for Hughie Morrison and his connections.

Now the 8/1 joint favourite, the three-year-old doesn't have to be held up, having won from handier positions in the past, but that seems to be the best way to ride him now and with the expert of holding horses up and coming with a late run in Hughes, we could be in for a thrilling finish to the 1m1f prestigious handicap.

A number of horses hold strong claims, Johnny Murtagh rides the top weight Fury for William Haggas as Joanna Morgan saddles Moran Gra, the only Irish representative in the race worth just short of £100,000 to the winner.

Jane Chapple-Hyam's booking of Joseph O'Brien is significant for Mull Of Killough, while the Godolphin runner Double Dealer may be a decent each-way prospect.

Also at Newmarket tomorrow is the Group One Jaguar Cars Cheveley Park Stakes and the Group One Kingdom Of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes.

Andy Oliver sends over his Group Two winning two-year-old Sendmylovetorose as he looks to secure a win at the top level with her. The three-time winner didn't produce her best on quicker ground at the Curragh in the Group One Moyglare Stud Stakes last time out and with the ground set to be good again, maybe take a chance on Lowther winner Rosdhu Queen who seems to appreciate the quick ground.

In the Sun Chariot Stakes Kevin Prendergast sends over La Collina and Aidan O'Brien will saddle Up.

Henry Cecil holds a very strong hand here and it would be no surprise if his pair of aces finish first and second with Beauty Parlour selected to touch off Matron Stakes winner Chachamaidee.
