Jason Maguire remains in the dark as to when he will return to the saddle as he continues his recovery from career-saving back surgery.
The Grand National-winning jockey underwent surgery on slipped discs in April and had a further scan on the problem last week, although there was no news on a possible comeback date.
Maguire, who suffered his latest injury setback at Musselburgh in February, less than a year after recovering from life-threatening injuries following a fall at Stratford on the eve of the 2014 Cheltenham Festival, is expecting a further update after seeing a specialist at the end of the month.
Maguire said: "I went for a scan last week but there is absolutely no news whatsoever. I have been having some physio at Oaksey House and things are ticking along.
"I will be going back to see the specialist in Bristol on July 27 and we will see what happens then."
