Godolphin has bought recent Ascot winner Log Out Island.
The two-year-old son of Dark Angel was a four-and-a-half-length winner for trainer Richard Hannon at the Berkshire venue last month, having cost £95,000 at the sales last August.
The colt, who is related to the likes of Umniya and Lady Links, is considered a Royal Ascot contender by Hannon.
The trainer told www.godolphin.com: "Log Out Island won impressively on debut at Ascot last month and has been training on well, he has a fantastic attitude.
"We very much hope he'll make into a Royal Ascot two-year-old."
John Ferguson, bloodstock advisor to Sheikh Mohammed, said: "Log Out Island won really well at Ascot.
"Richard's two-year-olds normally improve, and if this horse builds on this performance, the sky is the limit."
Log Out Island holds an entry at Newbury on Saturday in the Olympic Glory Conditions Stakes over six furlongs.
