Unfortunately, Sandown was cancelled today but hopefully Storm Denis won't impact on my rides at Haydock and Navan this weekend.

There are inspections at the three English tracks today but if I get to Haydock ELEGANT ESCAPE (3.15, Haydock) is the horse I'm most looking forward to.

This will be his first run since he had a wind operation and it will be a tough ask with top weight but he is a Grade One horse in a handicap and I think he will take a bit of beating.

WEST APPROACH (2.05, Haydock) runs earlier in the Grade Two Rendlesham Hurdle and back over hurdles this looks like Colin Tizzard has found a good opportunity.

Paisley Park is the kingpin of the staying hurdle division so any race like this without him in it certainly opens it up and I wouldn't swap West Approach for any other runner in the field.

West Approach had been in decent form over fences and now switches back to hurdles with the second highest handicap rating of the field but he gets 6lbs from The Worlds End which will hopefully help swing it in our favour.

Finally today, I ride KILBRICKEN STORM (3.50, Haydock) in what looks a very hot Pertemps Qualifier.

Unowhatimeanharry helps Kilbricken Storm get into this race with a nice racing weight of 11st1lbs and my lad is a former Albert Bartlett winner so he has some class.

If we finish in the top six it will be job done as he'd then have qualified for the race at the Cheltenham Festival but I'd be hopeful he'll do more than that.

I can't be everywhere today but I'll be keeping an eye on MASTER DEBONAIR (1.15, Ascot) who takes on Sporting John. This will tell us where Master Debonair goes from here but I think he'll come through this test with a win.

I think I can start with a winner at Navan tomorrow.

JUNGLE JUNCTION (1.20, Navan) was second in a good Leopardstown maiden and can go one better now.

I'm probably most looking forward to MAGIC OF LIGHT (1.50, Navan) in the Boyne Hurdle.

She was a very good winner last time out and obviously this looks a hot race but she is in great form at home and I'd say this will be her last run before the Aintree Grand National.

Magic Of Light should have an each way chance as also do both RAPID RESPONSE (2.55, Navan) and DISCORDANTLY (4.00, Navan).

Rapid Response is good enough to run a nice race despite having top weight if handling the ground, while it doesn't look a vintage renewal of the Ten Up and I wouldn't swap Discordantly.
