TOMORROW's meeting at Down Royal has been called off due to frost. The track was due to stage a seven-race card but officials have concluded there is little chance of the track being fit to race after temperatures dropped well below freezing overnight.
Horse Racing Ireland moved quickly to reschedule the fixture, however, and the meeting will now take place on Wednesday, February 11.
Tomorrow's meeting at Carlisle has also been abandoned due to a frozen track. Officials had called an 8am inspection due the current cold snap but they decided to abandon the meeting earlier than expected.
Temperatures reportedly dropped to minus 9C overnight with further cold weather forecast.
Tomorrow's Ludlow meeting was another venue to suffer a frozen track and is also abandoned.
