IRELAND star Aiden McGeady today jetted out to Spain for training alongside his new Everton team-mates with a lucrative £2.5million-a-year contract in the bag.
The former Celtic star was unveiled as the Toffees' major signing of the January transfer window, joining Everton from Spartak Moscow for a fee in the region of £2m in a deal that will keep him at Goodison Park until 2018.
"It has sort of been a long time coming," McGeady said after joining international team-mates James McCarthy, Seamus Coleman and Darron Gibson at Everton.
"There was talk over the summer that something might happen, but I am just delighted that it's done and dusted now.
"I said for a long time that I wanted to try myself in the Premier League. Now I have a big chance at a great club, under a good manager. It's a dream move."
