RUGBY
IRISH international prop Jamie Hagan has joined Melbourne Rebels.
The tighthead, 28, previously played for Leinster, Connacht and London Irish and won an Ireland cap against the USA in 2013.
Hagan, who recently signed a short-term deal with Leinster to provide cover for their league games during the Rugby World Cup, will play with the Rebels until the end of the 2017 season.
The Rebels are managed by former Munster coach Tony McGahan, who said: "To be able to bring a front row player into the team with 100 (provincial) caps is a real positive for the improvement of the squad."
