Wexford to herald new era in style

LAOIS v KILDARE

(Portlaoise, Tomorrow, 2.30)

Tommy Fitzgerald, Cahir Healy and Brian Smith are unavailable for Laois due to club football commitments with Portlaoise, while Zane Keenan is working his way back to full fitness following a badly broken leg.

VERDICT: Laois

CLARE v DOWN

(Cusack Park, Tomorrow, 1.30)

JOHN Conlon is out for at least two league games after picking up a leg injury during NUIG's Walsh Cup defeat to Dublin.

Clare should have no problems, though.

VERDICT: Clare

WESTMEATH v WEXFORD

(Cusack Park, Tomorrow, 2.30)

EOIN Quigley (shoulder) is Colm Bonnar's only injury absentee as Wexford contemplate life in the post-Damien Fitzherny era. Paul Roche, Keith Rossiter, Darren Stamp and Colm Farrell -- all of who missed the Model County's '09 championship run -- are back fit and in contention.

VERDICT: Wexford

ANTRIM v CARLOW

(Casement Park, Tomorrow, 2.30)

NOT the foregone conclusion it once was as Carlow attempt to build a side for their maiden voyage in the Liam McCarthy Cup. Antrim should be too strong at home, however.

VERDICT: Antrim
