Wanderers looking for manager

WANDERERS are seeking a football manager.

They have one of the most scenic homes in the county, Frank Kelly Park, Rathfarnham, which has two excellent playing pitches, a training ground, plus a fine clubhouse.

All applications and enquiries to club chairman, John Boyle, St Colmcille's Junior National School, Knocklyon, Dublin 16.

Phone 01-4947422. The closing date is Friday, December 6.

JOB done. And now he has stepped away from the bridge.

Last January, Gerry Harrington, the former Dublin county board chairman, answered his club's call to take over as manager of the Naomh Mearnóg senior footballers.

He did so in the company of Martin Kenny, Richie Johnson and Ciarán O'Callaghan.

And now that senior championship and senior league status has been maintained, Gerry is taking off the bib.

ST JUDE'S are holding a special concert in their club hall on Friday, December 6 (7.0) in aid of the Peter McVerry Trust.

It will be a gala evening of carols and songs for all the family.

Admission on the night is free. Donations will be accepted towards the McVerry Trust.
