ST VINCENT'S v CUALA (tonight, Parnell Park, 8.30)
Vins are the aristocrats of Dublin football. They top the charts with 24 titles. Mickey Whelan last led them to the Promised Land in 2007.
St Vincent's are seeking their first victory in the top tier where they have lost twice and drawn once. Last year they tasted defeat in a thrilling quarter-final to Ballymun under the lights at Parnell Park.
There was only a point in it. Dean Rock's injury-time free settled it. Vins don't lack calibre – Ger Brennan, Eamon Fennell, Diarmuid Connolly and Mossy Quinn.
Cuala have All-Ireland winner, Michael Fitzsimons. John Sheanon is another Dalkey Diamond. And then there's Philip O'Donnell, Ronan Murdock and Adam Hudson.
Verdict: St Vincent's
