ST VINCENT'S are hoping there is DVD evidence to clear skipper Ger Brennan of striking as the Dublin champions contemplate a Leinster club SFC semi-final against Summerhill of Meath without their two most celebrated stars.
All-Ireland winner Diarmuid Connolly is already suspended for the Parnell Park clash on November 24, and now his Dublin team-mate Brennan will also be absent unless he can overturn yesterday's seventh-minute red card against St Loman's.
St Vincent's deservedly survived with 14 men to win by 0-11 to 0-9, after which manager Tommy Conroy said: "We'll certainly have a look at it (the red card). Ger is adamant that he didn't strike.
"I don't know what way it goes, I'll let the club do that, but certainly we want to appeal that, I'd say."
Meanwhile, Ballyboden St Enda's won the Dublin SHC title after a 0-13 to 0-10 win over Lucan Sarsfields at Parnell Park.
Ballyboden had to play out the last quarter with 14 men after Maurice Nagle was sent off.
