IT'S the Baker's Dozen for the brilliant Ballymun Kickhams. They cooked up a storm by winning their first Dublin SFC title since 1985.

Before a huge audience, they edged a thrilling final against Kilmacud Crokes under the bright lights in the Parnell Parlour.

And now the Magic 'Mun have been generously rewarded in the 2012 Evening Herald/Dublin Bus Dubs Stars Football nominations.

Sixteen clubs are represented on the honours list, which includes four players who were also named on the Dubs Stars Hurling nominations.

They are Willie Lowry of St Vincent's, John O'Loughlin of St Brigid's and the O'Carroll brothers of Kilmacud Crokes, Rory and Ross.

Two sets of brothers have made the Dubs Stars Football nominations, with the dashing St Jude's duo of Brendan and Kevin McManamon also making the cut.

The 60-strong selection also includes St Patrick's (Palmerston), Erin's Isle, Templeogue Synge Street, Parnell's, St Maur's, St Sylvester's, Ballyboden St Enda's, Thomas Davis, Naomh MearnĂ³g, St Oliver Plunkett's/ER and Na Fianna.

The Dubs Stars Football team will be announced on Tuesday, November 27. Next Tuesday, the Dubs Stars Hurling side will be revealed.
