DUBLIN injury doubts Danny Sutcliffe and Niall Corcoran have both been named on the team for Sunday's Allianz NHL Division 1A clash with Tipperary in Thurles (2.0).

Sutcliffe's readiness for battle was expected after an earlier declaration from Anthony Daly that he was "90/10" to play despite an ongoing groin problem.

This didn't prevent the All Star wing-forward from delivering a man of the match performance against Kilkenny last weekend, scoring 1-5 from play, and he is duly named at No 12 for the trip to Tipp.

Corcoran had to be replaced against the Cats because of an ankle injury and was rated a more serious doubt, with Daly revealing: "He was in an ice bath on Saturday night. He was in the sea on Sunday. So it's a case of he'll see the physio and it's either a thumbs up or thumbs down from (team physio) Eamon O'Reilly."

Based on his inclusion at No 2, the Galway native has convinced the medics - but there is one change in the other corner-back position, as Simon Timlin replaces fellow Cuala man Cian O'Callaghan.

There is good news about another defensive option, Paul Schutte, who suffered a broken thumb in January. "Paul came back training on Tuesday night, which was fantastic," Daly enthused.

Tipperary's survival prospects have shipped a heavy blow after defensive lynchpin Padraic Maher was ruled out of this must-win clash through injury. Darragh Egan replaces Darren Gleeson in goal and with call-ups for Conor O'Brien, Kieran Bergin and Jason Forde in place of Maher, Conor Kenny (illness) and Michael Heffernan.

O'MOORE PARK in Portlaoise will host the Leinster U21 FC final between Dublin and Meath on Wednesday, April 2, after agreement couldn't be reached on having a toss for home venue.
