St Anne's have a ball at 75th anniversary party

ST ANNE'S celebrated their 75th anniversary with a dinner-dance at the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel.

"It was lovely to see so many faces from the past enjoying the evening and sharing stories of days gone by," said Anne's PRO, Linda Harbron.

A feature of the event was the picture display on the big screen that raised a chuckle or two. A presentation was made to Alan 'Nipper' McNally and Lorcan Molloy for their role in Dublin's All-Ireland minor football success.

The St Anne's chairmen were also honoured.

NEW Dubs boss Jim Gavin is a bit of a mastermind. He sat into the big, black chair and didn't miss a question.

Jim launched the big Garda/Westmanstown Gaels 'Who Wants to be a Thousandaire' event which will be held at the Westmanstown complex on Saturday, December 8.

Tickets cost €10. There will be food and a full bar available. More details on www.westmantowngaels.ie or 086-6082708. Or you can email Stephen at stephen@ westmanstowngaels.ie.
