Spanish eye Irish link up Seán saves the Tower's

THE Sant Vicent GAA club in Valencia, Spain are looking to welcome Irish clubs to play them in challenge matches.

They are four years going and they are competing in the Iberian and European Football Championships.

They have a mix of local and Irish players and they are a useful side.

They promise good weather, a decent match and a memorable weekend.

They will also help out with details of the trip. If any teams in Dublin are interested just email secretary.valencia.europe@gaa.ie for more details.

Yearbook a delight

THE annual blockbuster is about to spin off the presses -- the Dublin Yearbook.

Its editor, Gerry O'Sullivan, is promising more exclusives than you'd find in Hello! And better pictures too.

The publication accesses all areas of the Dublin GAA circuit. There's some top interviews and features.

The Yearbook is as much a part of Dublin as Grafton Street and a stroll in Stephen's Green.

Not forgetting a mug of tea and a sticky Bewley's bun.

Seán saves the Tower's

CLONDALKIN'S Round Tower's preserved their U13 Division 4 football status with a recent home win against St Finian's of Swords.

There was little between the teams, and as Finian's were pouring on the late pressure, Tower's superb goalie, Seán Ryan, incredibly made two penalty saves.

No doubt, a future Stephen Cluxton in the making.
