Blues fans can be extra man BEFORE the senior footballers go into action on Sunday, Dessie Farrell's minors face up to a fancied Galway side that much is expected of from supporters in the west.

They are backboned by their St Jarlath's College contingent who reached this year's Hogan Cup decider - and when Jarlath's go well at Colleges 'A' level it is usually a good indicator that Galway minors will do likewise.

While Dublin have collected provincial honours on their march to the semi-final and been impressive in their own right, the minor grade doesn't always play out to form as young minds can often get side-tracked on the big day.

Given the strength of the opposition facing them a big crowd would be like the proverbial extra man, so park the pints, and get to Croke Park before 1.30pm to lend your voice to the young Blues quest to reach the final for the first time since 2003.
