Ryan fires Brigid's past Mun

A FIRST-HALF goal from Philip Ryan proved the pivotal score as St Brigid's overcame Ballymun Kickhams by 1-15 to 0-15 in their Dublin AFL Division 1
top-of-the-table clash at Páirc Ciceam last Saturday evening.

Kickhams, missing all their Dublin senior panellists, rallied somewhat in the second-half but the Brigid's defence held tight with Alan McCarrick, Alan Daly and Colin Freeman ensuring the Blanchardstown club joined Ballymun at the summit of the table.

Both teams are three points clear as their nearest challengers, St Maur's and Kilmacud Crokes, succumbed to away
defeats at Ballyboden St Enda's and St Oliver Plunkett's/Eoghan Ruadh respectively.

In AFL2, Fingal Ravens sealed promotion to the top tier with Cian Ó Scanaill's late point securing a 2-10 to 3-6 win over Skerries Harps.
