DUBLIN hurlers have received a timely boost ahead of tomorrow evening's Spring Series date with Limerick at Croke Park (throw-in 5.0) after Liam Rushe was passed fit to start.
The 2011 All Star midfielder will duly take his place at centre-back for what promises to be a crucial encounter in deciding the ultimate make-up of this year's Allianz League Division 1B finalists.
Rushe had to be replaced after suffering a groin twinge in last weekend's victory over Antrim in Belfast and was considered a doubt earlier this week.
Simon Lambert has been named at left half-back. The Ballyboden St Enda's man was not named to start last Sunday but in the end deputised for his clubmate Shane Durkin, who was ruled out through illness.
As already indicated by manager Anthony Daly earlier in the week, Alan Nolan is handed a rare start between the posts instead of former All Star netminder Gary Maguire.
Limerick have also announced their line-up - minus skipper Donal O'Grady who has been ruled out for the rest of the league after suffering a broken collarbone during their surprisingly fraught victory over Carlow.
Meanwhile, dual star Lee Chin has once again opted for the Wexford hurlers this weekend - he is named at wing-back on the team to face Antrim tomorrow but isn't included in the Slaneysiders' football squad facing Westmeath on Bank Holiday Monday.
