Royals set up Dubs final

MEATH came back from a one-point half-time deficit to qualify for their first Leinster Under 21 FC final since 2001 with a 2-16 to 1-10 win over Offaly in Parnell Park last night.

Séamus Mattimoe kicked six points (one free) while Bryan McMahon managed 1-4 from full-forward as the Royals outscored Offaly by 2-6 to 0-4 in the second-half.

They now take on Dublin in the provincial decider on April 2 at a neutral venue to be decided by Leinster Council.

JOHN Heslin has been ruled out of Westmeath's remaining Allianz League Division 1 games against Kerry and Kildare after suffering a groin injury.
