ALLIANZ FL DIVISION 2
TIPPERARY v MEATH (Thurles, Tomorrow 12.45)
THE Royals second-half malaise in Páirc Tailteann last Saturday almost cost them the points against a struggling Weatmeath (prior defeats to Donegal and Armagh), writes Conor McKeon.
There's no doubting the sharpness and quality of the Bray brothers - Stephen and David - in the corners of the Meath attack, but their middle eight who lacked the stomach for the fight when Westmeath came surging back and the presence of Michael Ennis in the Westmeath half-forward line caused more problem than it should for a well-drilled team.
That said, there's the possibility of comebacks from both Shane O'Rourke and Brian Sheridan tomorrow, neither of whom, it must be noted, would solve their problem out the field, but would add significantly to their already stellar forward line.
Tipp's draw with Down came as somewhat of a surprise and John Evans has made three changes but the Royals should still have enough.
ODDS: Tipperary 7/4, Draw 15/2, Meath 4/7 VERDICT: Meath
