Revitalised Brigid's are primed to avenge defeat of last year to Jude's

ANOTHER game to get the daisies dancing. A repeat of last year's fourth round tie. Jude's won that by a point before beating Plunkett's in a replay and then St Mary's to reach their first final.

They were heavily beaten by Vincent's two weeks ago, but injuries didn't help. Jude's were more like themselves against Thomas Davis when Declan Donnelly and Ross O'Brien got the goals.

Thomas Davis made a spirited comeback in the second half but the Tymon lads were equal to it. Seán Breheny and Conor McBride put out the traffic cones, while Colm Murphy and Seamus Ryan patrolled the midfield. The McManamons, Ronan Joyce and Shane Gallagher can all turn jewellery into gold.

The Blanch Boys have a business look about them this term. It's all about getting the job done, which they did against Anne's. Relegation to Division 2 hurt them. Paddy Andrews, Ken Darcy and Kevin Bonner form part of a formidable attack who can reverse last year's outcome.
