Rebel lesson to serve Jackies well in Tyrone

(Killyclogher, Tomorrow, 2.0)

LIKE the Dublin boss, Peter Clarke, the new Tyrone manager, Gerry Moane, is searching for the gold blend.

Against Cork the last day, Dublin used eight subs.

And with the unlimited substitution rule in the league, that policy will continue.

Off the bench against Cork, came the captain Gemma Fay and Denise Masterson, the Dublin skipper in 2010.

This is a repeat of that historic All-Ireland final.

For Dublin in the league, two out of three ain't bad, having beaten Kildare and Meath.

Tyrone's only victory came against the Lilywhites. They fell to Laois and Meath, so they'll be anxious to jump on the escalator.

The Blues were pleased enough with their outing against the All-Ireland and league champs. Many notes were taken.

There was only a goal in it, although Cork's first-half wide count stretched into the double figures. For this new look Dublin side, it's very much a work in progress.

This is the first of three successive games on the road. The Tyrone full-forward, Gemma Begley, will take watching.
