New season ticket allows Dubs to seal place on Hill

DUBLIN supporters can secure tickets for Hill 16 for every Croke Park match of their 2013 campaign after a new scheme was announced yesterday with Croke Park.

Previously, Dublin season ticket holders were only entitled to purchase stand seats but now, they will have the option of standing on the Dubs' traditional support hub at the Railway End.

According to a press release from Croke Park yesterday, the ticket -- which is priced at €130 -- entitles the holder to Hill 16 tickets for all five of Dublin's Allianz Division 1 matches to be played in Croke Park in 2013.

The ticket will also permit the holder to attend both of Dublin's away League matches against Kerry and Donegal and their opening Leinster SFC fixture against Westmeath or Carlow on June 1. For all further championship matches, the registered owner will be entitled to purchase one ticket for the Hill 16 end.

In addition, the ticket applies to all Dublin club fixtures and the AIB All-Ireland club finals on St Patrick's Day in Croke Park.

The GAA have also announced details of ticketing arrangement for next year's Spring Series, offering a €50 ticket for adults to attend all five events.

Juveniles can avail of a €15 price to see all seven matches over the course of the programme while tickets for individual matches are available at €13 per adult or €5 per juvenile.

BALLYMUN Kickhams will play Dr Crokes for a spot in the All-Ireland club football final in Semple Stadium, Thurles on February 16 after Croke Park released the dates and venues of the AIB club semi-finals.

It means Jim Gavin must plan without his Ballymun Kickhams brigade until after his team plays Kerry the previous weekend at the very earliest.

In the other semi-final, St Brigid's of Roscommon play Crossmaglen Rangers in Mullingar on the same day while Dublin Junior champions Castleknock will meet Kenmare Shamrocks of Kerry in Mitchelstown on January 27 in their semi-final.
