Naomh Peregrine Rose to bloom

Best of luck to Dublin Rose Róisín Lyons, who is representing the county at the Rose of Tralee at present.

Róisín is 24 years old and hails from Clonsilla. She is sponsored by Muscular Dystrophy Ireland, a charity which is very close to her as it affects members of her immediate family.

Róisin is a professional Irish Dancer with Heartbeat of Home and Riverdance and aims to set up her own Irish Dancing school in the future.

Naomh Peregrine GAA club is very close to Róisín's heart as all her family have either played or been Committee members over the years and she has had great support from all members and the wider community since her selection as Dublin Rose.

As her profile states, she loves teaching the young dancers in her community, going to the theatre and cheering on the Dubs in Croke Park.

Given those comments, Róisín is onto a winner, irrespective of the judges' deliberations in the Kingdom later this evening.
