GAA fans up and down the country were breathing a sigh of relief today after RTE announced that they would be broadcasting live coverage of the Munster SFC final replay on July 18.

There were fears that the game being scheduled for a Saturday evening at 7pm could present a conflict with Sky Sports who are scheduled to show two football qualifiers involving the winners of this weekend's 2B clashes.

Sky's Saturday coverage had tended to focus on 7pm matches but the Munster fixed the replay for 7pm that evening.

The qualifiers may be moved to earlier starting times to avoid a clash between coverage but we may not know if that is the case until Monday when the draw is made.

There had been speculation that the match might be moved to Sunday because of traffic issues.
