McCrabbe steps it up for the Craobh march on past Mobhi men

CRAOBH Chiaráin moved into mid-table of the Dublin AHL Division 1 following their 2-17 to 0-11 win over relegation-threatened Na Fianna at Clonshaugh.

The hosts were inconvenienced by the 10th-minute dismissal of Kevin Warren as the visitors opened up an early, wind-assisted 0-6 to 0-1 lead with Eoin Campbell at corner-forward lively.

However, with Stephen Chester rock solid in the home goal, Craobh whittled their arrears to two points by half-time with Alan McCrabbe converting four frees.

Despite Mark McGuirk also receiving hiis matching orders, the hosts pulled clear after the break with Francis Usanga and McCrabbe contributing vital scores and Na Fianna's disappointment was compounded by the late sending-off of Joey Boland.
