Lucan will continue to soar

JUST the start Lucan wanted. A win against the Craobh. A display of sun-tan and grit.

Mick May was outstanding. He was McCrabber's personal security guard. Tommy Somers, Peter Kelly and Peter Carroll were prominent.

Cuala will get nothing easy here. John Henderson is managing them. He'll be demanding black and amber effort, and tons of it.

Cuala will look to Oisín Gough, Paul Schutte and Eoghan Dunne. David Treacy, despite a hamstring injury, did well against Brigid's, but it was a disappointing defeat.

So Far: St Brigid's 1-18; Cuala 0-18. Lucan Sarsfields 2-15; Craobh Chiarain 1-10.

VERDICT: Lucan Sarsfields
