THE draw for the semi-finals of the Evening Herald Dublin Senior Hurling Championship was made last night.
It will be the champions, Ballyboden St Enda's, against Lucan Sarsfields, while St Brigid's will play O'Toole's.
The games will be staged on a big double bill under the Parnell Park lights on Wednesday, October 19th.
For Boden and Lucan, it's a case of "we'll meet again". It's the fourth time in five years that the two clubs have been paired with each other at the business end of the championship.
Boden beat them in the semi-finals of 2007 and 2008 and again last year in the quarter-final when Liam Hogan's men edged it by a point.
Lucan also made the last four in 2009 when Craobh Chiaráin overcame them by a point, so they'll be hoping for better fortune against the team that are seeking the five-in-a-row.
In last weekend's quarter-finals, Boden defeated Ballinteer St John's, while Lucan had a handsome victory over Faughs. O'Toole's were impressive winners over Kilmacud Crokes, who were fancied this year to make a major impact, especially after signing the Dublin forward, Ryan O'Dwyer.
But the Ayrfield men showed all their vast experience and desire, and it was the Dublin duo, the Carton brothers, Michael and Peadar, who were their chief scorers.
The Larriers will meet an in-form St Brigid's team who have already knocked out two of the heavyweights, Chiaráin's and last year's finalists, St Vincent's.
