Lacklustre Vinnies find enough to see off Cuala

ST VINCENT'S failed to fire on all cylinders when recording a five-point victory over Cuala in their Dublin Senior Football Championship first round tie last night.




Diarmuid Connolly gave Vincent's the lead and they went in 0-7 to 0-3 ahead, as Cuala fought back through Conor O'Brien and Keating.

The visitors reduced arrears further after the break but late scores from Ciaran Dorney and Connolly sealed victory for Vinnies.
