STEPHEN BATES, Niall Kelly and Mary McGrath are the trio that have led Thomas Davis to the Promised Land.
On the weekend after next, they meet Boherbue of Cork in the Tesco All-Ireland Junior Championship final.
It's been a wonderful campaign by the Dublin champions, and it has been backboned by a high work ethic and deep focus. They never took their eyes off the ball against Annaghdown, and even when the result was inevitable, the Davis girls kept seeking more votes.
"It was a very good performance," reflected Niall. "We got a nice start and we managed to build on it.
"To produce a display like that against the Connacht champions is very pleasing. Full credit to the girls. They have put in the work all year.
"Their fitness is excellent and we have some fabulous footballers."
Among them is two-time All-Star Siobhan McGrath, a cultured, commanding centre half-back. Terrific at protecting the hall door and also competent driving forward.
Her fellow defenders didn't give Annaghdown a sneeze, while the likes of Sinead Deegan and Katie Fitzsimons turned possession into profit.
"It's fantastic to be in an All-Ireland final. The whole club is excited about it," added Niall.
"We'll get down and prepare well for that now. It's going to be a massive occasion. And I think it will be a case of last to leave Tallaght, turn out the lights!"
