It's same again for Kildare

ONE week after their emotionally-charged deadlock with Antrim, the Kildare footballers have announced an unchanged line-up for tomorrow's SFC qualifier replay in Casement Park (7.0).

While there remains the possibility of 11th hour alterations, sources indicate there might be only one late change.

Encouragingly for the Lilywhites, Dermot Earley took a full part in training on Tuesday and again last night following the trauma of last week culminating in the burial of his father, Dermot Snr, just hours before the All Star midfielder heroically played against Antrim in Newbridge.

Kildare's midfield options are further boosted by the return from suspension of David Whyte, although the Moorefield man is on the bench.

Keith Cribbin (knee cartilage) and Ken Donnelly (awaiting cruciate surgery) are also in the frame to play some role, having come off the bench during the drawn game. However, it's understood that Alan Smith remains "touch and go" to feature as he attempts to fully shake off the ankle injury that kept him out of the first Antrim clash.

KILDARE (SF v Antrim): S McCormack; P Kelly, H McGrillen, A Mac Lochlainn; M O'Flaherty, E Bolton, B Flanagan; D Flynn, D Earley; J Kavanagh, P O'Neill, H Lynch; E Callaghan, J Doyle, R Sweeney.
