Good start can be half battle for Dub minors

DUBLIN minors play Galway in the curtain-raiser on Sunday (1.30) and should ensure that most of the Dublin supporters get in early.

This is a very good team and have been blazing a trail through the competition from the start. Galway are a bit of an unknown quantity having been beaten in their provincial championship despite reports that they had a very good squad this year.

Dublin manager, Dessie Farrell, knows all to well that anything can happen at this level and he will have his players fully focused on the job.

Minors, like seniors, can get carried away with success so it is vital that they start well on Sunday. A win would put the supporters in blue in singing mood before the big game.
