Gaelic: Bernard Brogan: Alan is 'unreal'

BERNARD BROGAN has sung the praises of his older brother Alan, whose stellar form has played a huge part in Dublin’s All-Ireland campaign.

The 2010 Footballer of the Year (pictured below) believes Alan is finally getting the credit he deserves after ten years of dedicated service to the Sky Blues.

“He has been unreal,” Bernard enthused. “He’s always chipped in with the scores and worked hard.

He’s done that for the last 10 years. Maybe this year, he’s just getting a bit more praise for it.” Brogan also struck a note of caution ahead of Dublin’s clash with Donegal on August 28. While the Dubs amassed a massive 22 points against Tyrone last Saturday night, Brogan is expecting a far more claustrophobic semi-final against the Ulster champions. “It’s going to be very difficult,” Brogan warned.

“They will probably sit two extra men in the back line, so it’s going to be tough for us to score,” he admitted.
