There was plenty of on-field GAA action this weekend but Derry’s Gaelic football community has been busy praying for the health of one of their former inter-county footballers.
Aaron Devlin plays for Ballinderry Shamrocks and he took ill after a club game during the week.

According to the Jordanstown GAA Facebook page, who posted a get well message, Devlin is on life support after suffering a brain virus.
Devlin’s brother, Coilin, has also played for Derry and a host of teams and players, but from inside and outside the county, tweeted their best wishes towards a speedy recovery for the footballer.
