DUBLIN'S team for their impending Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Hurling Championship encounter against Offaly in Tullamore tomorrow afternoon (2.0) was announced last night with manager Pat Fanning naming a relatively inexperienced selection.
Only Cian Mac Gabhann and Eoghan O'Donnell started in Dublin's All-Ireland MHC final replay defeat to Tipperary last autumn with the former featuring at full-back after impressing between the sticks twelve months ago.
O'Donnell is one of three dual players included that played in Dublin's MFC victory over Louth three weeks ago with both Con O'Callaghan and Eoghan McHugh selected in the full-forward line.
The team is captained by Cuala's Sean Treacy while vice-captain Andrew Jamieson Murphy forms an exciting midfield pairing with Ryan McBride from St Vincent's.
In total, ten teams are represented in the starting 15, with Ratoath's Daragh Kelly and Eoghan Conroy from St Maur's reflecting the broad range of clubs involved.
Dublin MHC (v Offaly): J Treacy; G Quinlivan, C Mac Gabhann, J Bellew; F Ó Riain Broin, E O'Donnell, D Kelly; R McBride, AJ Murphy; S Ryan, S Treacy, E Conroy; C O'Callaghan, E McHugh, E Ó Conghaile.
