THE Dublin hurlers remain captain-less after one round of the Allianz League.
Cian O'Callaghan represented the team for the coin toss on Sunday in Parnell Park as Ger Cunningham's team breezed past Tipperary in a 12-point win.
The Cork native clarified afterwards that no permanent captain had been appointed.
"We hadn't finalised it during the week," Cunningham explained.
"We're just rotating around at the moment. We haven't finalised anything."
Both Liam Rushe and Peter Kelly captained the side during the Walsh Cup and both would appear strong candidates for the role, though each is currently settling into Cunningham's team in a slightly unfamiliar position.
O'Callaghan, meanwhile, made his senior Championship and League debuts just last year.
The Cuala man made his first competitive appearance of 2015 on Sunday having missed the Walsh Cup campaign owing to his involvement with UCD.
