PETER KELLY remains Ger Cunningham's biggest injury concern ahead of next Saturday's Leinster SHC quarter-final replay with Galway in O'Connor Park, Tullamore (4.45).
On Monday, Kelly underwent a scan on the hamstring injury he suffered in the first half of last Sunday's draw, a blow that forced the Dublin co-captain out of the match.
A spokesperson for Dublin management told the Herald that it was "likely to be late in the week before a definite picture is known on Peter."
Michael Carton replaced Kelly and performed well in his time on the pitch, having started this year's League campaign as Cunningham's first choice full-back.
If Kelly is ruled out, Carton would appear the most likely candidate to come into the Dublin team, although Cunningham also revealed he was hopeful that regular corner-back, Paul Schutte, would be available for Saturday having missed out last Sunday with an ankle injury.
