NEITHER Davy Dalton nor Eoghan Harrington will be available for Meath on Sunday in their Leinster SFC semi-final with Wexford in Croke Park (2.0), with both certain to miss a second championship match through injury.

Royal boss Mick O'Dowd has revealed that the same personnel that beat Wicklow in the provincial quarter-final will be involved again in Croke Park.

"I'd say the same 26 will be available the next day, with no additions to that. That means Davy Dalton is not ready or Eoghan Harrington is not ready," O'Dowd explained. There may, however, be alterations to Meath's starting XV with defence the most obvious area for readjustment.

Both wing-backs, Ciarán Lenehan and Mickey Burke, were substituted at half-time in Aughrim after picking up yellow cards and may come under pressure from their replacements on the day, former captain Seamus Kenny – who has missed the majority of the last year with a cruciate ligament injury – and Pádraic Harnan.

O'Dowd is unlikely, however, to tamper with an attacking unit that contributed 12 points of Meath's 1-17 tally, although both Brian Farrell and Joe Sheridan will be pushing hard for a starting recall.

LEE Chin has been named at centre-forward for the Wexford U21 hurlers for tomorrow night's Leinster semi-final with Carlow in Dr Cullen Park (7.30).

The dual player is expected to line out in the Wexford defence in Croke Park this Sunday for their Leinster SFC semi-final with Meath.

CILLIAN Buckley faces the prospect of playing three championship matches in six days after he was named at wing-forward for the Kilkenny Under 21s for their Leinster opener with Offaly tomorrow night.

Buckley started the Leinster SHC draw with Dublin last Sunday and is expected again to be named in Brian Cody's starting XV for Saturday's replay in Portlaoise.
